What do you do when you have artist's block?

#1

Sometimes when working on a project we might be going through an artist's block and get stuck for a while, not knowing what elements of design fit each other the best or what colors to choose or something of that nature. What do you do when this happens? Do you take a break and return to the project when you have a clearer mind? Or do you continue to try to finish the project in spite of your artist's block?

Usually I delve into music, or I would look at speedarts, other artist's work, etc. It helps give inspiration and seeing the processes in a speedart can kick start me to think "well what if I did this, but changed that, and added..." and this certainly helps to get the creative juices flowing!
