Mirage Typescript definitely has a future, it’s used by a number of projects both big or small.
With regards to the hype because it’s MS, that’s a good question, but I think that the development community are savvy enough to remember that Microsoft actually has a bad track record when it comes to projects; insofar that they usually end up killing a lot of them 😅🙈
The fact that this one has continued for 8 or 9 years, tends to suggest it’s got legs to go the distance
