Depends on the video tutorial. Too many videos are too fast, or not in depth enough. Generically speaking, I probably prefer text tutorials due to this.

Do you usually prefer text tutorials or video tutorials? The internet has a lot of both types. YouTube and other video sharing sites have thousands of video tutorials for graphic design. Do you feel like reading and looking over images is better than watching a video tutorial or the other way around?
Seriously depends what for. Sometimes you need a visual stimuli while you're doing something, in which case video is useful.

I prefer video tutorials that are well made and at the pace of a beginner so that the viewer can follow. What do you prefer? What tutorials do you want to see made?
